This outline reflects the core processes for designing, manufacturing, and installing custom awnings, as well as providing post-installation support and maintenance. When you submit a quote request to Country Canvas for a new residential or commercial awning, this is what you can expect:
1. Initial Consultation & Inquiry
  • Customer Contact: Reach out through website, phone, or in-person.
  • Needs Assessment: Discuss customer needs (type, size, style, and functionality of the awning or other product).
  • Site Visit (Optional): Schedule a visit to the location for measurements and to assess environmental factors (e.g., sun exposure, wind).
  • Budget Discussion: Establish an estimated budget based on customer needs and preferences and finalize the job to proceed.
2. Design & Customization
  • Material Selection: Present fabric and frame options (e.g., vinyl, acrylic, metal).
  • Style Selection: Discuss and choose the style of awning (e.g., retractable, stationary, dome-shaped).
  • Color & Pattern Options: Offer a selection of colors and patterns for customization.
  • Measurements & Dimensions: Take precise measurements of the area to ensure a proper fit.
  • Approval: Finalize design and obtain customer approval before proceeding.
3. Production & Fabrication
  • Fabrication Planning: Prepare a timeline for manufacturing based on customer specifications.
  • Frame Construction: The framework gets built either on-site or at our shop depending on the design. At this stage the cutting, welding, and building of the framework takes place.
  • Quality Control: Inspect the materials, design, and construction for defects or errors.
  • Canvas Cutting & Prepare the fabric according to the dimensions, sewing it into the desired shape.
  • Assembly: Depending on the design, the awning either gets fastened to the framework on-site or at our shop.
4. Installation & Setup
  • Pre-Installation Preparation: Ensure necessary tools and hardware are ready for installation.
  • On-Site Installation: Install the awning at the customer's location, ensuring proper positioning and secure mounting.
  • Functionality Testing: Test retractable mechanisms, adjust tension, and check for ease of operation. Make sure all fasteners are properly secured.
  • Final Adjustments: Make any necessary adjustments to the alignment or functionality.
  • Customer Orientation: Provide the customer with instructions on how to operate and maintain the awning.
5. Ongoing Maintenance & Repairs
  • Winter Service: Provide reliable Takedown, Inspection, Repairs, Cleaning, Storage, and Installation Services
  • Repairs: Provide services for any necessary repairs, including frame adjustments, fabric replacements, or mechanism servicing.
